WORK INSPIRATION JUNE/JULY 2013
What a fantastic 2 weeks it has been within Boots support office! Work inspiration has been a great success with a lot of potential and talent flying across the room! The students have had a jam packed week of all sorts of activities and workshops that have opened their eyes to the world or Boots, work, opportunities and employability skills! These two weeks were deisgned by Zoe Rawnsley in the talent pipelines team who is a new apprentice and has really put in hard work to make these two weeks as exciting as possible!
Within these two weeks there was an employability skills day which I was fortunate enough to design and deliver. This day was made up of all sorts of activities, team building exercises, role plays, presentations and a big 'pavilion of opportunities' event. The students were really engaged and it was a delight to deliver this day to the 100 students!
Next up is the work experience week which starts today! We will be looking after a student who has a real passion for HR, so we are thrilled to have her in our team!
